Time flies and the years fly, too!

I am sitting, looking out the window and there is a winter wonderland in view! 2009 has been an amazing walk with the Lord! 

We have been faithful to our Methodist and Presbyterian Denominations in response to their call to prayer, conferences, training opportunities, celebrations and financial support. We have learned and grown and found Spiritual growth as we shared in these programs.

Medical problems, and even the death of some of our members, have brought us to better appreciate the promises of God for answers to prayer and comfort in sorrow.

We have had several babies born into our congregation and several babies whose families are impressed with the importance of Baptism and Christian fellowship. Three of these babies were baptized in December, 2009.

I invite persons who are interested in Christian ministry to join us for worship and service to the community in 2010. I am reminded of the words to the hymn that says, "The joy of the Lord is my strength." This convinces me that we all find joy when we share in Christian service in a united faith, strengthened by the Lord.
